SELECTBOARD MEETING
Monday, September 3, 2018, 7:00 PM
Holley Hall

I. Call to Order: 7:00 PM
1. Review agenda for addition, removal, or adjustment of any items per 1 V.S.A. §312(d)(3)(A).

II. Public Forum.
1. This is an opportunity for citizens to briefly share comments and concerns with the Board about matters that are not on the agenda (up to 5 minutes for each topic). A topic requiring more than 5 minutes should be scheduled for a future agenda.

III. Scheduled Appointments.
1. 7:00 – Fire Chief Brett LaRose: (1) interview with Fire Fighter candidate Alexis Fojo and (2) consideration of Ryan Denecker’s resignation. May include deliberation in Executive Session.

2. 7:15 – Energy Committee candidate interview: Richard Butz. May include deliberation in Executive Session.

3. 7:30 – Public Works Foreman Eric Cota: request to install a second gate on the water tank access road just above the log landing.

IV. Regular Business.
1. Continued consideration of request from Danny Grace for the Town to discontinue the Class 4 section of Purinton Road.

2. Consider bids received for the Village sidewalk reconstruction and select contractor. May include deliberation in Executive Session.

3. Consider road name changes and renumbering of units at the Kountry Trailer Park.

4. Consider grant application proposal from the Police Department for a free drug collection unit.

5. Consider whether to seek bids from other insurance providers for workers comp and property liability and casualty coverage.

6. Continued consideration of the Vermont League of Cities and Towns FY2020 Municipal Policies.

7. Authorize issuance of payment to the State of Vermont associated with the Stoney Hill Properties, LLC closing per the 1999 deed stipulation from the State of Vermont to the Town of Bristol.

8. Approval of meeting minutes of August 20, May 14, and April 30, 2018.

9. Authorize accounts payable warrant and any liquor licenses.

10. Selectboard concerns.

11. Town Administrator’s report.

V. Other Business.
1. Correspondence, reports, correspondence received.

VI. Executive Session: personnel matters per 1 V.S.A. §313(a)(3), potential real estate negotiations per 1 V.S.A. §313(a)(2), and potential contract negotiations per 1 V.S.A. §313(a)(1)(A).

VII. Adjourn.
