Capitol for a Day in Addison County with Gov. Scott

On Monday, November 18, 2019, Governor Scott, along with his cabinet and extended cabinet, will be spending the day in Addison County as part of the Capitol for a Day series.

The Department of Taxes is pleased to be hosting events with interesting topics and diverse presenters in great locations, including:

Understanding Your Education Property Tax, 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. at the UVM Morgan Horse Farm in Weybridge; and,
A Discussion Regarding the 2019 Legislative Session, State Finance, and Prewritten Software Accessed Remotely, 3:15 to 4:30 p.m., also at the UVM Morgan Horse Farm.

In addition, the Department will be participating in an Agency of Administration event at the Ilsley Public Library in Middlebury from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Secretary of Administration Susanne Young, along with Commissioners Chris Cole (BGS), Beth Fastiggi (HR), Jason Broughton (Libraries), and Acting Tax Commissioner Craig Bolio will host a presentation about the functions of their respective departments, focusing on services and resources offered to businesses, municipalities, and the general public. There will be an opportunity for networking during this event.
