With Halloween over, we return to a range of classic films from the 1930s thru 1970s. This week’s film is based on the 1960 Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Harper Lee.
Here’s the synopsis:
“A widowed, morally upright lawyer defends a black man accused of raping a white woman in 1930s Alabama. Meanwhile, his two young children become involved in a mystery involving the town pariah.”
Director: Robert Mulligan
Cast: Gregory Peck, Mary Badham, Phillip Alford, John Megna, Frank Overton
See you on Friday!
